With its stunning stone-made fireplace and a copy of “Supper at Emmaüs” by Caravaggio, our restaurant Le Cénacle offers a memorable gourmet experience.
Our menu is based on food and wine pairing, with famous vintages from Languedoc and South West.
The conservative cuisine is reinvented and enhanced with Occitan touches.
Thomas Vonderscher comes from Vosges but began as kitchen help in La Bergerie (Aragon). This young talented chef has quickly developed a passion for cooking especially for the land gastronomy. He learnt his job with Sébastien Chambru (Moulin de Mougins) and Jérémy Morin (Metropolitan, Toulouse). However, it’s next to Jerome Ryon that he became aware of his potential and began to assist him in the kitchen of La Barbacane restaurant (Hôtel de la Cité, Carcassonne).
In September 2015, he took the control of the Cenacle restaurant in collaboration with Jérôme Ryon. Since January 2018, he has the pleasure to sign the whole menu.
Have a seat at the Bar and linger in one of our cosy couches and club chairs. The atmosphere is so British, casual and relax.
