In October, every little bit helps
To mark Pink October, the teams at the Cité Hôtels Group are joining forces with the Ligue contre le cancer. From Toulouse to Carcassonne, via Ax-les-Thermes and Figeac, our hotels are organising events throughout the month centred on wellbeing, prevention, sharing and fine dining.
Look after yourself. Look after others.
Yoga, charity massages, gourmet events, social gatherings and awareness-raising sessions: everyone can play their part, in their own way, in this collective effort.
Ax-les-Thermes
Mercure Ax-les-Thermes & Les Opales Spa
Throughout October, Les Opales Spa is joining forces with €1 donated to the Cancer League for selected massages.
Yoga is also joining the movement with four charity sessions on 1, 8, 15 and 29 October at 6.00 pm. The session is open to 15 €, including €1 donated to the Cancer League.
When it comes to fine dining, the restaurant Fédou offers a pink macaron for €9, with, once again, €1 donated for every macaron sold.
From 5.30 pm to 8 pm, including a taster yoga session at 6 pm and a range of activities focusing on wellbeing.
Carcassonne
Hôtel de la Cité – MGallery
At the Hôtel de la Cité, Pink October is all about wellbeing and fine dining. Throughout the month, €1 is donated to the Cancer League for every one-hour manual massage.
A number of yoga sessions are also planned in partnership with Alovive, 100 % women’s sports centre, offering sessions at 15 € and limited to 12 participants.
From 6 pm to 8 pm – €25 per person.
Drinks, canapés, hand massages, a scent workshop and an exploration of wellbeing.
The campaign is also continuing in the kitchen: from mid-October until the end of the month, For every lunch menu sold, €1 is donated to the Cancer League. A special ‘Pink October’ cocktail is also part of the campaign.
Carcassonne
Mercure Carcassonne La Cité
At the Mercure Carcassonne La Cité, Pink October is reflected in the little touches that make up everyday life. Every morning, a pink detox water is available for breakfast throughout the month.
The teams are also playing their part in the campaign by wearing their pink pin, a symbol of their support for Pink October.
Toulouse
La Cour des Consuls – MGallery
At La Cour des Consuls, the spa is running a series of events throughout the month, featuring €1 will be donated to the Cancer League for each eligible 1-hour and 1½-hour massage. Customers can also make an additional donation.
Two yoga sessions are on offer on 20 and 27 October, from 9 am to 10 am.
From 5.30 pm.
On the programme: a talk on breast cancer prevention, presentations by two osteopaths, an overview of the work of the Ligue contre le cancer 31, a scent workshop, pink cocktails and mocktails, and canapés.
Figeac
Mercure Figeac Viguier du Roy
At a restaurant The Viguier’s Dinner, solidarity is also found on our plates.
€4 is donated to the Cancer League for every lunch set menu purchased.
The formula A main course and dessert are available for €24, at lunchtime from Tuesday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

A single symbol across our establishments
Throughout October, staff at Cité Hôtels establishments taking part in the initiative are wearing the pink bow, a common and visible symbol of their support for Pink October.
Together for Pink October
Through these initiatives, Cité Hôtels aims to support the campaign led by the League Against Cancer and to raise awareness amongst guests, staff and partners through practical actions in each of the regions where we operate.
